Congratulations to the 14 U.S. and international educators chosen as the 2012 class of Dart Center Academic Fellows. The educators will attend workshops at Columbia University, sponsored by the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma. As a member of the inaugural 2010 class of Dart Center Academic Fellows, I appreciate the efforts of scholars and working journalists to raise awareness of trauma-related issues and to help educate and train the next generation of news media professionals.
